Herridge Books

One of my favorite bookstores is Herridge Books in Wellfleet, MA, one of my favorite Cape Cod towns. This place was discovered by my dad and me when I was young (maybe 8ish?). The first book I got here was one of the Wizard of Oz series books; I think it was The Lost Princess of Oz. This series holds a special place in my heart, and since its origin for me was Herridge, the store too is a happy place for me.
After a bit of a stressful morning, we arrived at Herridge and conducted a photo shoot.

I went a tad crazy and got 9 books. You have to go into this store with no plan. I'll look for authors or publishing houses I typically recognize. Then, I'll just start reading the synopses if the former isn't going so well. I've always found something here. Below is a list of the titles I found this time:

I am currently needing a nighttime book, aka a book I can read while sleepy. Will choose tonight. Acquiring all these at once has made the decision much harder, lol.

Update (10:45 pm est): I chose a book I forgot I had called “The Girl of the Sea of Cortez” by Peter Benchley, published by Berkley Books
